Riddle of the day

Here is the answer:
The kid did it because the school isn't open on Saturdays
And here is the next part of the riddle:
There are two identical doors, but only one has a treasure inside. Each is guarded by a robot, "X" & "Y". The doors and robots are identical in every way, except one robot always lies and one always tells the truth. But you don't know which one is the liar.
What one question, could you ask only one robot, and know which door to open to find the treasure?

As this is the first one I will explain, I will post the first half here and the put the answer the next day.
 Here is the first half.

The sister died on a saturday night, but no one knew who did it. The mom was in her garden picking flowers.
The dad was with the cook. The cook was surrounded by knives. The kid was at school. Who did it?

Completely Rearanged

Hia, Lavender here. We really have moved the site around. Kaida and I are planning a new story soon including a 16 year old girl and a whole lot of mysteries.

Realisation

Hello all! I'm still having trouble with the blog but now I have managed to make it so the stories are in chronological order. A wonderful day off school today so i had more time to write, although I should have done homework. I plan on adding to 'A New Beginning' because the chapter is not yet completed. Please note that you will find all the stories now in a list on the left.
